Item description
Original copyright was 1941. Text was revised/condensed in 1971, so the next copyright was 1971. In 1971, the title was slightly changed from “THE Mystery AT the Moss-Covered Mansion” to “Mystery OF the Moss-Covered Mansion.” Print run: 1975. Farah-Coded 1975A-66.
Grosset and Dunlap. #18 in the series. This is the revised text. 177 pages. Black/white multi-pictorial endpapers. Blue ink top page block.
It is an ex-library book in pretty good condition for a circulated book, with typical library markings and a pocket on the rear free endpaper (see pictures). The bar code on the rear cover was struck through with a black magic marker. A little patron did write in red ink “Books have feelings too” on one of the blank post-text pages. Hinges are strong, pages are firm. Rear cover lists to The Secret of the Forgotten City.
Not a bad deal for a reading copy.
