Item description

Grosset and Dunlap. Copyright 1940. Print run is 1957, either Carpentieri-coded 1957A-28 or 1957B-29. Cover art by Paul Laune. Author was John Button, using the Stratemeyer "Dixon" pseudonym. #19 in the series. Tan book in very good condition with brown endpapers, plain frontispiece. Original 25 chapters. Front free endpaper reverse has Christmas 1959 gift inscription, but there is no other writing. Sturdy binding and hinges without tracking. Corner bump at front top of book (see picture). Intact but chipped dust jacket. Small pink stain on rear of jacket. Book is protected in removable mylar covering. (RHBE-19)
