Grosset and Dunlap. Copyright 1931. Print run Carpentieri-coded 1960B-50. First use of the second version cover art, by Rudy Nappi. The text was not revised/updated until 1964, so this text is 25 chapters by the original author, Leslie McFarlane, using the Stratemeyer "Dixon" pseudonym. #7 in the series. Tan book in very good condition with brown endpapers, plain frontispiece. No writing/marking in book. Very nice dust jacket with small V-chips at top jacket spine, and at top right front fold. No writing/marking on jacket except small ink smudge on front inside flap (see picture #4). . Book is now protected in removable mylar covering. (HBE-7)
