Item description
Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from THE ACADEMY AWARDS PRESENTATION c.1950's. It depicts a stage full of elegantly-dressed stars gathered on the stage as the orchestra plays in the background and the audience members watch. A vintage television camera is placed at either end of the stage to broadcast the event. As indicated by a rubber stamp on the verso, this photograph was taken by Rothschild. It is in fine- condition with a small tear on the top border; an internal tear with light signs of wear in the top left corner of the image area; and a few small creases simply from handling over time.
