US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1950's escape convict-themed crime drama, THE DEFIANT ONES, released in 1958 by United Artists and directed by Stanley Kramer. Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier co-star as two escaped convicts chained together, one white and one black, who must learn to get along to evade capture. The cast includes Theodore Bikel, Charles McGraw, Lon Chaney Jr., King Donovan, Claude Adkins, Lawrence Dobkin, Whit Bissell, Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer, and Cara Williams. The image features a very close interior publicity shot of cast member Cara Williams (as Billy's Mother). It is in very fine condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, creases, writing, or other flaws.
