Item description
Vintage original 14x36 in. US insert poster from the popular 1950's western drama, THE LAST WAGON, released in 1956 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by Delmer Daves. Based upon a story by Gwen Bangi, wagon train survivors of an Apache attack entrust the sheriff's prisoner, scout Comanche Todd (Richard Widmark), with their lives despite his wanted-for-murder status. The cast includes Felicia Farr, Susan Kohner, Tommy Rettig, Stephanie Griffin, Ray Stricklyn, and Nick Adams.
The design features great artwork at the top of a wagon train being attacked by Apaches on horseback with three sepia-tinted photographic scenes and two larger color photographic scenes from the film in the bottom half. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original insert poster is in fair+ condition only with border chips of varying sizes; random signs of wear in the borders; and surface paper loss in the right half of the first and second panels. The color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
