Item description
Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the "all-talking, all-singing" musical picture, PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ, released in 1930 by United Artists and directed by Edward Sloman. Harry Richman stars in his first sound film for United Artists as a vaudeville and nightclub performer who becomes successful and forgets who his
friends really are.
The image features an interior medium shot of slick Harry Raymond (Harry Richman) putting the moves on blonde Dolores Fenton (Joan Bennett) as George Barnes (Purnell Pratt) watches with a smug little smile. Affixed to the verso is the original paper snipe caption that describes the photo. Printed on single-weight stock with a glossy finish, this vintage original photograph is in very fine+ condition with only a 0.25 in. diagonal crease on the bottom right corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
