Large Size L. E. Smith 6" Long Yellow Glass and 23 similar items

This large bunny dish by L. E. Smith was probably made between 1995-2006, because that's when production of this transparent yellow color coincided with the manufacturing of these glass bunnies. The base is the same one that was used for Smith's large hen on nest dish. The lid also was used on a covered egg plate, although in limited colors that didn't include yellow. The dish is 6 inches long at the top of the base (which is how collectors measure hens and animal covered dishes). It weighs about 2 1/4 pounds before packing for shipping. This dish is used, in excellent condition with no damage; and just old enough to be considered vintage (by most definitions). It would be a great dish for serving (cold) food in for your Easter brunch! Or for holding Easter eggs, etc. Please note that although the color is yellow, it is NOT Vaseline glass, and it does NOT glow in black light. It's just beautiful yellow glass.
