Burt Lancaster stars as Moses, the man who led his people from slavery to freedom and faith, in this mammoth production of the old testament story. As an infant, Moses is put afloat on the Nile, to save him from the Pharaoh's death edict for all male Hebrew babies. A princess finds him, and Moses is brought up in the Egyptian Court. When he protests the treatment of his people, Moses must flee to the desert, where he finds the voice of the Lord in the burning bush.

He returns to Egypt to demand that Pharaoh free his people, predicts the ten plauges, leads the Exodus, receives the Ten Commandments and finally, before his death, sees the promised land. MOSES is a spectacular production, vast in scope and rich in character; it is the unforgettable epic of a nation, a hero, and a man.
