Item description
These are 2 small bowls by Rosenthal. They are the Pompadour Form and Beatrice Pattern. The background is off-white with maroon flowers and gray leaves and vines. There is a gold edge trim. The bowls are approximately 5" across and 1" tall. They are useful for ice cream, berries, desserts, and other small portions. The underside is marked Rosenthal with the mark Crown in the V. It further states Selb-Germany Pompadour. Beatrice is marked on some bowls. There are numbers on the underside of some of the bowls, some in gold, some in black. The numbers vary. Some are marked U.S. Zone. If you are trying to match exactly the underside markings, let me know and I can message you through if I have the exact match. The bowls have no breaks, chips, scratches, stains, crazing, or repairs. These were my parent's china pattern first purchased in about 1950-1953. I think they were assembled over a few years. They were rarely if ever used. I am downsizing and am selling the bulk of my china. Non-smoking household.
