2 Rosenthal Pompadour Beatrice Salad Plates and 15 similar items

These are 2 Rosenthal Pompadour Beatrice pattern salad plates approximately 7 3/4" across. Pompadour is the form and Beatrice is the pattern. This pattern has an off white background with mauve or rose flowers and yellow centers, gray tendrils and leaves, and gold border. The border is scalloped and swirls impressed in the body with a gold edge. These plates have no cracks, chips, scratches, crazing, or gold loss. This was my parents' pattern that they purchased them between the late 1940s and the early 1950s. Some were purchased at Slavick's in Los Angeles and some in Germany. The plates are marked on the underside Rosenthal Selb Germany Pompadour. Some are marked Beatrice and some are marked U.S. Zone. If you have a preference on the marking, please message me through before you purchase to make sure I have the marking you want. These have been stored away for decades in quilted china covers with separators to minimize stacking marks. I am now downsizing. Non-smoking household.
