This is a Fitz and Floyd cup and saucer set in the Renaissance Peach pattern. The cup is approximately 2 1/8" high x 3" outside diameter without the handle. The handle is approximately 1" out from the body at the widest part. Thee body of the cup is white porcelain with a peach band of approximately 1/2". There is a thin black line above and below the peach band. The top cup edge has a gold band approximately 1/8" on the outside and 1" inch on the inside. The handle is all gold and there is a thin gold line at the bottom outside of the cup. The cup underside is marked "Renaissance" Fitz And Floyd, Inc. (c) MCMLXXVII Japan FF26. The saucer is approximately 5 1/2" across and 7/8" tall. It is white porcelain with a peach band approximately 3/4" wide running around the saucer. Below and above the peach band is a thin black line. The verge has a gold stripe approximately 1/4" wide with a black line above and below it, The top edge has a gold stripe. The underside is marked the same except the date is MCMLXXVIII. The cup holds approximately 6 ounces. This set could be used for coffee, tea, or other liquids. The saucer can be used as bowl for ice cream, berries, or other desserts. I do not recall ever using these cups. My primary china was Renaissance Gray. I bought Peach accent pieces to go with it, but rarely if ever used the Peach. The cup and saucer have no breaks, chips, scratches, repairs, utensil marks, crazing or stains. I stored all of my china in padded containers with padding in between each piece to avoid stacking marks. I do not believe that these are dishwasher, freezer, oven, or microwave safe. Hand wash. I am downsizing and am selling the bulk of my china, crystal, sterling flatware, etc. Non-smoking household.
