Item description
Two vhs tapes that have been pre-viewed for quality. Both played great on my JVC deck with part 2 having one little negligible hiccup, some flips on the MGM logo when you first pop it in. Both boxes are in good condition with some minor scrapes as normal shelf wear. Both cassettes are nice and clean.
JEEPERS CREEPERS: Trish and her brother Darry are driving home from college on some backroad highway when they're almost rundown by a dilapidated cargo hauler. Further on down the abandoned desolate road they see the driver of the van dumping what seems to be body bags into a big drain pipe.
They turn around to see if anybody needs help. The driver is gone but the drain pipe is by a rundown abandoned church and seems to be guarded by crows. The pipe is more like a chute at a steep downward angle. Darry says "you know the part where somebody does something really stupid in a horror movie, well this is that part". What he finds is unbelievable.
They immediately seek out authorities and are caught up in some voodoo prophecy-laden fortune telling. Now they, along with the cops, are the targets of the Creeper, an adversary they could have never imagined. The special effects are great.
JEEPERS CREEPERS 2: Sequel finds teen football players and cheerleaders stranded on a bus somewhere in the sticks looking like the next batch of victims for the Creeper. While the cast chews on the dialogue in and around the doomed bus, local grizzled farmer Jack Taggert (Ray Wise) prepares to do battle with the individual that killed his son some 23 years earlier.
Apparently the extra money spent on special effects came out of the wardrobe budget, as a host of beefcake football players parade aound with no shirts on for director Salva.
