Item description
Matchbox Vauxhall Guildsman 1 (40) Superfast by Lesney Products Co. Ltd.. Made circa 1971. This Die Cast Metal British automobile's interior comes in pure in white. The exterior comes in fushia color with the rear trunk in glass. The hood of this car has a cool design centered. The base (bottom) is in silver. This is a 1:56 scale model. The Vauxhall Guildsman concept car had been created and then selected by Matchbox for production as a toy car. It turns out that Phil Gannon is the story behind this story as he is the person who designed the Vauxhall Guildsman concept as a contestant in the 1969 Vauxhall Craftsman's Guild competition. This mini version was Made in England. This vintage item is collectible and it is in like new condition. In original box. (Box has minor wear.) Please see photos.
