Item description
Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1970's radio station-themed drama/romance, WUSA, released in 1970 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Stuart Rosenburg, in which a radio station in the Deep South becomes the focal point of a right-wing conspiracy in which they try to control the media (sound like a "news" station formerly owned by Rupert Murdoch?). The cast includes Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Anthony Perkins, Pat Hingle, Bruce, Cabot, Cloris Leachman, Moses Gunn, and Laurence Harvey.
The design features a photographic close shot of real-life husband-and-wife Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward as they are driven apart by a radio station microphone stand rendered to look like a knife or dagger with the American flag as its blade. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
The subject matter is just as relevant today as it was over 50 years ago.
