Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the popular 1970's romantic comedy/drama, THE GOODBYE GIRL, released in 1977 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Herbert Ross. Based upon the play by Neil Simon, after being dumped by her live-in boyfriend, an unemployed
dancer (Marsha Mason) and her 10-year-old daughter (Quinn Cummings) are reluctantly forced to live with a
struggling off-Broadway actor (Richard Dreyfuss).
Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet poster is in very fine condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and just a few very small scattered creases that are unobtrusive.
The Goodbye Girl earned an Academy Award for "Best Actor" (Richard Dreyfuss) as well as two Golden Globe awards ("Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical" and "Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical" for Marsha Mason).
