Rare Vintage Longeau / Enicar Military Steel and 30 similar items

This is a small but very attractive military style watch from the WWII era. This is a rare variant for most Longeau wrist watches have simple base metal cases. This all steel case measures 30mm without crown x 40mm lug tip to lug tip. All original and unmolested. Movement is an Adolph Schild Cal. AS984, introduced in 1940. Probably worn by a soldier as engraving of the owner?s initials in the back cover is a practice common in the military. Fully functional. Comes on a NOS black Perlon strap. According to : Trade name used by Enicar. The Longeau name can be seen on wristwatches and pocket watches used by the German army in WWII. The Longeau brand name is sometimes also found on dials made by Enicar for the Canadian retailer Birks.
