2 Rosenthal Gala Blue Classic Rose Dessert and 10 similar items

These are 2 DESSERT plates ( 6 3/4" ) made by Rosenthal Continental in the Gala Blue Classic Rose Form 2000 pattern. There are multiple sizes of plates in this pattern. These are larger than a bread and butter plate and smaller than a salad plate and are 6 3/4" across. If you are trying to match please measure to make sure these match your plates. The body is white with an approximately 1/4" blue luster band with gold bands on either side running around the edge. The total band is approximately 3/8" wide. The underside is marked Classic Rose Rosenthal Group Germany Form 2000. One plate also has the paper inspection label. These were purchased in the late 1960s and 1970s. These were never used and have been stored away in a quilted china storage pouch for decades. They have no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, or gold loss. This pattern was designed by Raymond Loewy, the great mid-century industrial designer, for Rosenthal. I am now downsizing and am selling this pattern. Non-smoking household.
