Fitz And & Floyd Damascene Gray/Silver & and 10 similar items

A 12" charger/service plate by Fitz and Floyd in the Damascene pattern. Goes well with gray patterns, such as Renaissance Gray, and gold patterns, such as Gold Rondelet. The plate has a white body and an approximately 2 1/8" rim and shoulder in a "Damascene" pattern with gold and black accent bands. The damascene pattern is gold and silver or gray bands with black outlines that form a block and the blocks are in a herringbone pattern. The underside is marked "Damascene" Fitz And Floyd, Inc. (c) MCMLXXXII Japan FF 148. I purchased this plate in the mid-1980s at a Denver china, crystal, silverware shop to use with my primary pattern, Renaissance Gray. I used this plate maybe twice and it was under a dinner plate. No food was on it and no knives cut anything on it. I observed no cracks, chips, scratches, or discolorations. There is an occasional small rub mark on the gold band. This has been stored away for many years in a quilted china pouch with plate separators to minimize stacking marks. I am now downsizing and am selling other items of Fitz and Floyd that coordinate with this pattern. Non-smoking household.
