2 (Two) Rosenthal Gala Blue Form 2000 6" and 10 similar items

These are 2 (two) approximately 6" diameter bread and butter plate in the Rosenthal Gala Blue pattern. This pattern was purchased in the 1960s. This pattern was designed by Raymond Loewy, the renowned industrial designer. The body of the plate is white with gold lines bordering a blue luster edge. The underside is marked Rosenthal Germany with the Rosenthal symbol. It is mid-century modern. We rarely used this china and I am not sure that we ever used each individual plate. We "kept it for good". The plate has no chips, cracks, scratches, discoloration, crazing, repairs, or gold loss. It has been stored away for decades in padded china covers with soft spacers between plates to minimize stacking marks. There may be an occasional light utensil mark. I am downsizing and am now selling this pattern. Non-smoking household.
