Old Stock Sliester 3 inch O Ring Heavy Sweet Iron Twisted Wire Snaffle Bit 54-SI
Attention collectors, show exhibitors! For your consideration, this is a new old stock Sliester 3 inch diameter #54 O-Ring heavy snaffle bit with a #00 sweet iron twisted wire mouthpiece. If a ring snaffle is what you are looking for, this heavy 3/8 diameter by 5 inches wide smooth snaffle provides a great working and show bit. The mouthpiece is sweet iron does show some minor rusting from storage.
Originating in the early 1980's, these bits are still very popular today. Sliester is no longer in business, and these bits rarely come up for purchase on the secondary market. The close up photo of the front side of the rings shows the maker's mark "SLIESTER". This is a great bit for use by show exhibitors, reiners, and other working type snaffle bit horses.
