Item description
8x10 in. US single-weight glossy copy on-set candid photograph (not a vintage original photo printed at the time it was taken) from the classic 1960's card-playing themed gambling drama, THE CINCINNATI KID, released in 1965 by Filmways Pictures and directed by Norman Jewison. Based on the novel by Richard Jessup, in 1930's New Orleans, the Cincinnati Kid (Steve McQueen), a young stud poker
player who travels from one big game to the next, stopping along the way
up with various girls, is pitted against the legendary champion
card-sharp, Lancey Howard (Edward G. Robinson) in a high-stakes poker game. The cast includes Ann-Margaret, Karl Malden, Tuesday Weld, Joan Blondell, Rip Torn, Jack, Weston, and Cab Calloway.
The image features an on-set candid close shot of screen legends Edward G. Robinson and Joan Blondell "...reminiscing about the old Warner Bros. days..." It is in very fine- condition with minimal signs of light wear on the bottom corners. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, writing, or other flaws.
