Illustrated with a double-page spread map. The first installment in the historical, nautical adventure series featuring Ned Yorke is set in the 1650s and involves Sir Thomas Whetstone, the British capture of Jamaica, and the Spanish viceroy and buccaneering raids. Pope is a naval historian with real-life navy and ship experience, and wrote numerous histories and nautical novels including the Ramage series.
