Up for sale Rare Vintage Lionel 6076 L.V. 25000 Lehigh Valley Two Bin Hopper Car Red Color Variation C. Car was produced in 1961-1963. Car is in very good condition , close to excellent , shows minimal play wear. Nothing broken. Plastic body is intact. White lettering is clear and crispy. Metal parts are in good condition ,also shows minimal play wear. Wheel axles show oxidation (see pic.5,6). I believe brake wheel is missing (see pic.8). I don't have original box for this car. NO RETURN. If you have questions , ask BEFORE , not after. Now information from Lionel library The Lehigh Valley Hopper Car No. 6076 was produced from 1961 until 1963 on a Type VI body. This car was used by Lionel in their more economical sets both cataloged and uncataloged as late as 1965. This hopper car did not have a brake wheel and it came with either AAR trucks that usually have one disc and one solid coupler, or Arch-bar trucks that came with solid non-operating couplers. Displays the number "25000" on the sides of the car. There are five variations: Variation A: GRAY body with BLACK lettering. Has "NEW 1-48" date. Variation B: BLACK body with WHITE lettering. Has "NEW 1-48" date. Variation C: RED body with WHITE lettering. Has "NEW 1-48" date. Variation D: Identical to Variation B except without "NEW 1-48" date. Cataloged as No. 6076-75 it came equipped with either AAR or Arch-bar trucks. Variation E: Cataloged and listed in the Lionel Service Manual as No. 6076-100, this GRAY car is unmarked and is found with either AAR or Arch-bar trucks. 108
