USN Navy Vintage WWII Saipan Original and 26 similar items

Paper size of this direct photo print is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". This print was very likely made soon after it was taken and likely at Saipan itself or on a ship there. This came to me as part of a group identified as being Saipan and included was a shot of the base Chapel which confirms it. The exact date was not noted and as the island is listed in Guinness as being the most consistent climate we can't really tell what time of year this is. Incredibly well composed and taken photograph, the detail is remarkable. The guys all have trademark Navy expressions, whatever that means, and it is outstanding in all regards. This level of detail and quality on a print this size is all but unheard of and you shouldn't let it go by. Very Good to Excellent condition, a well preserved example.
