Item description
3 Mark Twain books
This listing has three books by Mark Twain. All are HBs. One is ex. library.
The Prince and the Pauper is a HB with a DJ. It was published by The World Publishing Company in 1948. It is illustrated by Howard Simon and has an introduction by May Lamberton Becker. Condition: Very Good/Acceptable--pages are crisp and clean; binding tight; covers in great shape; DJ has lots of tears and edgewear.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a HB without a DJ. It is bound in red faux leather with gilt lettering. There is a piece of wax paper that someone cut out and put on the book as a DJ. It's done a great job of protecting the book (it is not show in the pictures, but the book will be shipped with it). It was published Greystone Press. The latest copyright date I found was 1922, but I think the book was published in 1985. Condition: Like New. Beautiful end pages.
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is an ex. library HB with a DJ and mylar covering. Condition: Good--there is a little water damage on the first few pages and the last few pages; a couple of pages have a crease in the upper corner; binding tight; one page has a blue pen mark on it; wear to the bottom of the covers; DJ has a little sunfading on the spine, but is nice otherwise.
I do combine shipping. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
