6 Henry James books This listing has 6 different books about Henry James (none are written by him). Five are HBs with DJs, and one is a PB. These are books probably written by English Professors, and are geared for other Professors and college students writing a research paper, etc. These all belonged to my late husband (he was an English Professor). He liked to mark his books, and there are four books in this lot with markings (one book has 8 pages marked, another 5 pages, another 4 pages, and another 3 pages: so there are no heavy markings in any of the books). An Annotated Critical Bibliography of Henry James by Nicola Bradbury is a HB with a DJ and plastic covering. It was published by St. Martin's Press in 1987. Condition: Very Good/Very Good--no markings; book looks close to new; back of DJ has some bleed out from the red ink, but nice otherwise. Writing Reading in Henry James by Susanne Kappeler is a HB with a DJ. It was published by Columbia University Press in 1980. Condition: Very Good/Very Good--book looks new except for two water spots on the very top of the pages; DJ looks close to new. Meaning in Henry James by Millicent Bell is a PB. It was published by Harvard University Press in 1991. Condition: Good--there are 8 pages with markings (mostly underlining with a pink highlighter); book shows slight handling. Communities of Honor and Love in Henry James by Manfred Mackenzie is a HB with a DJ. It was published by Harvard University Press in 1976. Condition: Good/Good--there are 3 pages inside with markings; the rest of the pages are unmarked; book shows slight handling; top of DJ shows slight handling. Henry James's 'Sublime Economy' by Donald L. Mull is a HB with a DJ. It was published by Wesleyan University Press in 1973. Condition: Good/Good--there are 5 pages inside with markings; the rest of the pages are unmarked; the top of the blank white end page has been clipped at a diagonal; pages show little to no handling; DJ has a little edgewear; top flap of DJ has been price clipped.
