Ancient Roman Follis Coin of Diocletian
DIOCLETIAN
283-305 AD.
Æ Follis. 10.02gm. 29mm. large format follis coin ~ For comparison a U.S. Quarter is 24mm and 5.75g.
Carthage mint. Struck c. 299-300 AD.
Obverse: IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, laureate head right.
Reverse: SALVS AVGG ET CAESS FEL KART (translation: Blessed Carthage, for the salvation of Caesars and Augusti), Carthago (personification of Carthage) standing left, holding fruits in both hands; A in exergue.

Condition: Very Fine, nicer in hand. Scarce.
