It is handmade from 18K GOLD and topped with PLATINUM. The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 SYNTHETIC RUBY that is a facet oval shape weighing approx. 3.0 ct. *Large synthetic colored stones were typical for the period due to the rareness and exorbitant price of a natural ruby of this size and color. The sapphire is framed with 12 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, I2 to I3 clarity that weigh approx. 1.40 ctw. Although these diamonds have the lowest clarity grade, the ring still has an eye-catching look when on the hand! The oval head of the ring measures 7/8? long by almost 11/16? at the widest point.
