It is handmade from 18K GOLD (back shank) and PLATINUM (top). The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 SYNTHETIC BLUE SAPPHIRE that weighs approx. 3.80 ct. This sapphire is an ANTIQUE CUSHION CUT that measures approx. 10.5 x 8 x 5.05 mm with a dark blue color. *Large synthetic colored stones were typical for the period due to the rareness and exorbitant price of a natural sapphire of this size. This sapphire has 2 tiny surfaces scratches, but you must intently study the stone to see them. The sapphire is framed with 16 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS of J color, SI to I clarity that weigh approx. .16 ctw. They each have a .01 - .02 ct spread. The ring measures 11/16? long on the finger by almost 5/8? at the widest point. The ring size is between 7 to 7.25 and the total weight is 5 grams. The shank has a scrape in the gold on the side.
