Item description
Vintage original 7 x 9 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1980s adventure/romance television mini-series, MONTE CARLO, broadcast on November 9 and 10, 1986 on CBS.
The image features an exterior shot of Joan Collins (as a beautiful singer-turned-spy for the allies on the eve of WWII after he husband is killed by Nazi agents) and American writer George Hamilton as they talk inside of a convertible. Wrapped around the bottom edge and held with a staple is the original paper snipe that describes the image. This photograph was used for publication in a newspaper and features two small grease pencil marks in the bottom border. Affixed to the verso is a portion of the actual corresponding newspaper clipping of this photograph. It is in fine+ condition as shown.
Provenance: The Hearst Los Angeles Herald Examiner newspaper archive.
