I think I was drawn to painting him, because the dichotomy of his off screen personality and his on-screen persona. I was sadened by his sudden early passing as so many were and so I chose to put him in a contemplative state, resting after his many accomplishments, with my liquid green background washing him slowly away. You will notice his watch is missing as his time on Earth has passed.
