ESTATE SALE PURCHASE....
Antique mantel clock made by E. INGRAHAM. EXTRA LARGE TOP AND VERY INTRICATE. SCROLLING ALL THROUGHOUT! LARGE STAR SHOWN NICE AND PROUD ON TOP CENTER.
Features:
-8 day movement. (involves less winding)
-Beautiful dark crackle finish that only comes with age.
-Authentic antique circa late 1800's to early 1900's.
-FANTASTIC antique cracked patina that only comes with age.
-BEAUTIFUL center star carving.
-CARVED THROUGHOUT.
-Extra wide base for extra stability and adds to it's appearance.
-Door latch
-Elaborate pendulum.
-PROVENANACE (It sold for $200.00 in 1989. In 2008 it was repaired, cleaned, and oiled. The door latch was replaced and it was given a new key. This service cost $65.00)
Condition: The glass is in good shape with no cracks or chips. The face has the perfect amount of patina as seen in pictures. The wood body is in good shape but does have some signs of age but no cracks or chips. The back top is missing its back support piece. See pictures. The door locks into place with the latch. THE CLOCK DOES RUN AND WIND. It may need oiled or maintenance and hasnt been tested for accuracy. CHIMES ON THE HOUR AND HALF HOUR.
22 1/4" tall and 14 3/4" wide
It will be protected well and insured. I PROTECT MY ITEMS VERY WELL!
