BLONDIE #1 by Chic Young Signet Books, 1968 First Printing Condition: Very Good- One of the all-time most successful newspaper comic strips is BLONDIE, the creation of Chic Young and carried on in later years by his son and other cartoonists. (It's still running, recently celebrating its 80th anniversary.) This collection is selected from the dailies of the early years (1930-36). The book is also a tie-in to the CBS BLONDIE tv series of the 1960s, with a cast photo on the back cover. There is a tear of the outer paper on the upper spine, edge/corner wear and some discoloration on the covers and slight edge/corner wear on pages.
