Item description
The Natural History of Thought
In Its Practical Aspect - From its Origin in Infancy
Written by George Wall, F.L.S., F.R.A.S.
London: Trubner Co., 1887
Though the title is rather pretentious, Wall's book is more of a treatise on how to think, or rather, how to think properly. It is, essentially, an early and rather philosophical self-improvement guide. Wall was an amateur philosopher and a member of the Royal Astronomical Society. He made his living running tea plantations in Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
Bound in ruled green cloth boards with gilt-stamped spine titles. Yellow endpapers. 416 pages with appendix. 9" x 6".
Extremely rare - none listed for sale online! A small handful listed in libraries on WorldCat.
