(2) Two Antique Photographs. (1) one Carte de Visite (CDV) and (1) one large hand-colored portrait. Identified as Will (William) Winans, "brother of J.A. Winans, died at (age of) 15 (in) 1893." CDV photo by Graeff studio in Sidney Centre, New York. Measure approximately 6.5 x 9 and 2.5 x 4.25. Condition: These are original photographs, not copies or reproductions. They are in excellent condition. The large portrait edges were trimmed, obviously to fit at one time into an oval-shaped frame. Comments: Will Winans was born circa 1878, most likely in Sidney Centre, New York where his brother James Albert Winans was born in 1872. He also had a sister named Lida (or Lide) Winans who died the same year at the age of 17. All three were the children of James Addison Winans (1839-1917) and Mary Antonette Sewell (1845-Unknown).
