This listing is for a very special black velvet jacket that I believe dates to around the 1940s. It is hard to really show the beauty of this jacket in photographs.. The velvet is soft and lovely, very nice quality.. There are ruffles and ripples and soft movement all over this jacket which make it special, not to mention the attached scarf. The sleeves have undulating, bell shaped sleeve end and on the upper edge above the sleeve end there is an attached second layer/ruffle. At the hip, just about at the same place where the sleeves hang, the hem at each side is a bit lower and gathered a bit for a ripple or ruffle edge which then has another ruffle attached which hangs over and above the hem ruffle. There is a full lining. Size approx 4-6 18" across back/chest = 36" chest sleeve approx 22" quick ship non-smoking thanks!
