I have installed a new Battery in this very fun time piece A Tachymeter Scale is inscribed around the rim of this attractive watch. Tachymeters are used to compute a speed based on travel time or measure the distance based on speed. I have not tried to figure out this feature but think it is a fun add on - more for looks rather than function. I suspect a young person would enjoy seeing if they can figure it out.
