Item description

This is a vintage empty container for a shaving stick by the J.B. Williams Co. Glastonbury, Conn. It is made of early plastic that looks like Colt Rock (maybe someone can tell us if they made these), and is 3 3/8 “ long X 1 1/2” in diameter. The screw top and bottom has raised letters and it is in excellent condition. It looks as if the top held the stick, you unscrewed it and applied it with the top. The top is white and the bottom a mottled brown. My scanner didn’t do it justice. The top has Williams in the middle with "Holder Top Shaving Stick" and the bottom reads; "container made in U.S.A" in the middle and "The J.B. Williams Co. Glastonbury, Conn." around it. There isn't any patent date. advertising vanity
