Vintage Salt Pepper Shaker Earrings Lucite Dangle Encased Screw Back Bright Blue Retro Novelty Plastic Embedded Acrylic Encapsulated Spices Cooking Condiments These adorable and unique clear Lucite or Acrylic earrings have a miniature pair of salt and pepper shakers encased or embedded and sealed in the center. They have bright blue tops and bottoms and dangle from a pair of gold tone screw-backs. These are probably from the 1950s to 1960s. They measure approximately of an inch long and inch wide, not including the screw-backs. They hang down 1 inches from the ears. These are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are no scratches or damage to the plastic that I can see. There is some glue residue from when the gold metal ring top was glued to the blue Lucite. Obviously the person was not very careful when these were put together originally, but they are secure. There is some loss of the gold plating on the screw back tops (see photos). If you collect vintage salt and pepper shakers these earrings are definitely for you.
