Impressive Acrylic Painting on Canvass with Wooden Frame gives the Appearance of a Beautifully Executed Stained Glass Window. Signed in the Upper Left-hand Corner - Jacobson '54. Measures approximately 19" Inches Wide X 37 1/4" Inches Tall X 1" Inches Thick and is in Excellent Vintage Condition with the usual signs of age and wear. Displays very nicely. Perfect Size Painting for that Narrow Wall in your Home.In addition to your Modern or Contemporary Setting, this Abstract Painting would be a wonderful addition to any Danish Modern, Paul Evans, Curtis Jere, Mid Century, Modernist or Eames Decor. He lived in Taos, New Mexico. Education Bachelor of Science, University Wisconsin, 1948 Master of Science, University Wisconsin, 1950 Career Teacher Taos (New Mexico) Valley Art School, 1952-1953, Philbrook Art Center, Tulsa, 1953-1954. Professor Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, 1956-1986, professor emeritus, since 1986. Guest professor University Wisconsin, Madison, 1967-1968. Works One-man shows include Yares Gallery, 1981, Kerr Cultural Center, 1989, Arizona Western College, Yuma, 1989, Medford Gallery, Tucson, 1992. Represented in permanent collections Phoenix Museum, New Mexico Museum, Arizona State University, Hastings College, Arizona Western College, Dallas Museum, Pennsylvania Academy Fine Arts and also private collections.
