Here is a VINTAGE "Hard Molded Plastic St. Saint Christoper Be My Guide Travel Safety Charm Token Coin Medal" from the mid-1940s. My neighbor recently rediscovered a box of commemorative pins, political buttons, religious medals and other memorabilia that had belonged to her father; the box and contents had been safely and securely stored inside his closet until his recent passing. With a diameter of approximately 1 1/4th inches, the front has an Art Deco inspired flagged zig zag toothed outer rim; it comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. A raised image of St. Christopher is in the center with the words "Saint Christopher Be My Guide" around the middle. On the reverse is the classic depiction of an airplane, boat ship and car automobile. Molded in high-relief, this sturdy, hard Plastic Token Coin Medal is a CLASSIC, HANDSOME piece of Catholic religious Memorabilia. Produced in the 1940s, this Travel Token is looking for a new home.
