The transitional cut is the antique cut that is closest to the modern brilliant cut in regards to proportions and light return. It is also known as the Early Modern or Early American Cut. The center stone is the largest, weighing approx. .75 ct. The diamonds on the sides of the center stone weigh approx. .45 ct each and the end diamonds weigh approx. .10 ct each. All of these diamonds are WHITE BRIGHT and EYE CLEAN! The total diamond weight is approx. 1.85 ctw. The top of the ring measures 8.26 mm at the widest point by 15/16? across the finger.
