About the item:
Released in 1973, these Pepsi glasses featured a variety of Looney Tunes characters (there were 18 in the entire set- this lot is missing only Slow Poke Rodriguez, Henery Hawk, and Cool Cat to be complete). Originally offered at a variety of restaurants that carried Pepsi products, the glasses were manufactured by both Federal Glass and Brockway Glass. Now over fifty years old, these vintage collectibles are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or, really, even any general use wear as they were never actually used (I am the original owner and they have been stored away since their original purchase). Any flaws or wear to the glasses are minor and they will be shipped very securely. Also, though they have been stored carefully, they should of course be washed throughly before use if one intends to drink from them).
Glasses in this lot include two, I say two, Foghorn Leghorn glasses and one each of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Petunia Pig, Sylvester, Tweety, Pepe Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Tasmanian Devil, Yosemite Sam, and Beaky Buzzard.
As you look over the collection, you can almost see Chuck Jones bring each character to life and, with the exception of Petunia and the Road Runner, hear Mel Blanc's iconic voice echoing through every witty quip and zany catchphrase, making the glassware feel like a miniature animated world right in your hands.
