Item description

Good condition leather suede gloves carry case of some vintage, possibly antique. A must-have accessory for the stylish woman in the era when automobiles were becoming the predominant means of personal transportation. The right rivet is half loose. You can snap it shut and open it all you like if you are careful to hold the bottom piece. If you would be buying this for regular use you could place a new bottom piece in or possibly even re-press the old one which has worked loose a little but has not torn or damaged the leather in the process. I think I would put a new one on and put the old one in a little plastic bag and stick it inside in case it made some difference to someone down the line. The inside bottom lining piece is purple, artificial fabric. The age is an estimate but I have a good feeling about it and the dealer I got it from also thought it was 1920's flapper era. Starting it at half the value or less and you don't see them like this every day so don't miss out. Ideal for use, collection, stage or screen prop, you can't go wrong, if you let it go you will kick yourself. Price really is low for what you are getting.
