Vintage 1950's two piece set with matching belt (3 pieces) by Dauphine Brown, taupe, gray and black on an off white background Fabric has the feel of a faux shantung silk (see zoomed in photos) Made of 100% Arnel Triacetate Collared peplum jacket and sheath/wiggle dress with a closed kick pleat in back Many indications this was hand finished, but no signs of alterations. Hem has a good 1.5" of play. Original metal zipper that works nicely. Cropped jacket has 5 buttons Both pieces are unlined and lightweight Tagged Size 16 on the Dress: Use measurements.
