BARN fIND: Up for bid is an Antique Stoneware Pottery Little Brown jug holds about 1 gallon. Has an "applied" handle to slip your thumb through. Jug is in good condition, common markings left from the firing process. Has a dark brown glaze similar to "salt glaze" around entire jug except on the bottom. This item is not marked, I do not know if it was homemade or mass produced. Workmanship is very nice, does have "fleck or pit" spots under the glaze which makes it more interesting. The hired farm hand left near the old barn rafters several years ago. Size about 9 1/2" tall and about 7 1/4" wide at the bottom. PRICED TO SELL!
