The item is unboxed, and the music does work. I have a video posted. Please see the video and look at the pictures for more details. Batteries are not included. It is made of plastic - not resin or a heavier material. He is sitting in a plane, and he is supposed to wave his hand and turns from side to side. When activated it plays "Joy to the World" and the airplane propeller is supposed to rotate. The base is a green "carpet" surrounded by decorative trim.
