Item description
An extremely rare vintage 1967 Stieffer Pewter porringer bowl. Used to commemorate the bicentennial anniversary of Dexter Corporation.
"In 1967, on it's 200 birthday, the Dexter Corporation offered its shares to the public. With this new capital, the company embarked on the path of mergers and acquisitions. In November 1967, the company merged with Hysol Corporation (currently a division of the company)."
This piece is as close as you can get to "one of a kind". In good condition with some minor scratches and a small dent. Has not been cleaned. See pictures.
