The colors displayed on this saucer are soft green, red, blue, black -all accented by a bold navy border. The gold accents hand painted to the surface are brilliant. The piece is unsigned. The design shows scenes of Japanese home life, geishas, a garden and bridge. Although the saucer appears to have been used with a tea cup, it is pretty and rare enough to be displayed on its own.
